Bombay Subway Sandwich - BM Style


Bombay Subway Sandwich is perfect Fusion of Indian American Sandwich. Its my one of the favorite quick and standup food dish. If you are from Bombay you will totally agree with quick and standup part.
It can be customized as per ones taste and health requirement. You can eat as healthy as possible to bit unhealthy ;) by adding lot of cheese and butter.
My Mom/Dad loves it and Sunday evening was perfect occasion for Appetite. 

Ingredients used
* Bread - Any kind
* Veges - Tomatoes, Cucumber, Boiled Potatoes, Cabbage, Red Bell Pepper, Spinach
* Base Paste - Fresh Avocado, Ketchup, Coriander Mint chutney
*Seasoning - Coriander leaves, Chat Masala, Bombay Sandwich Masala, Amul Cheese and Butter

Can also add
* Veges - Onion, Boiled Beetroot

BM Style Preparation

Prep-work
  • Cut all the Veges (Tomatoes, Cucumber, Boiled Potatoes, Cabbage, Red Bell Pepper, Spinach) into think slices
  • Toast the Bread in toaster 
  • Make Paste of Coriander Mint chutney and Ketchup
  • Make fresh Avocado paste 
  •  Add Seasoning (Coriander leaves, Chat Masala, Bombay Sandwich Masala) on all the Veges
Preparation time is 15 mins

Bombay Subway Sandwich
  • Apply Paste of Chutney and Ketchup on the toasted Bread
  • Apply Thin layer of Fresh Avocado
  • Arrange the Veges in the following order - Spinach, Cabbage, Potatoes, Cucumber, Red Bell pepper, Tomatoes, Coriander Leaves
  • Add Cheese and More Seasoning as per the taste
  • Cover with toasted bread to complete the sandwich
  • You can add or remove veges as per the ones taste
  • Serve with Ketchup, Butter, Chutney
